i mean it's not the craziest of things, all things considered... but it's pretty out there. you don't remember how you got it in the first place, or anything related to why you chose that design? if it was you who chose it, that is.

No... I don't remember why I have it exactly. I do know it's in irezumi style and that it probably took a long time to get done. I think I must have remembered a lot about these tattoos at some point but I mean... my name has the kanji for dragon in it, so maybe that's why it's a dragon?

Oh, speaking of things I've remembered. Do you know if you have any relatives back in Japan named Tetsu? I remembered someone who was also a Tachibana. He was my old(?) boss.

tachibana tetsu...? hmmm.. doesn't ring a bell. tachibana's a fairly common surname in japan though.

if it's your old boss but you can't find a trace of him, then maybe it's a pseudonym. tetsu could be a shortened name.
