not really. not often? just really superficial "let me know if my mother can do something for you" and "say thanks to your mom for the extra help."

he doesn't even mention the words "physical therapy" unless i ask. i don't think he really trusts me. about any of it. which is really stupid but probably my fault.

maybe it would be easier for him to talk to you about it.

i think he might be trying to not make you worry too much, by doing what he thinks will keep you from worrying. as backwards as it sounds... either way i don't think him being more likely to tell me than telling you isn't proof that he trust me more than you, you know. we're not super close, so that's why it'd be easier.

he'd... be less invested in my feelings about it.
